The annual Watermelon Festival is а favorite and awaited event not only for the locals but also for the foreign guests of the city. The festival attracts the visitors by various activities, such as watermelon parade, artistic decoration of the watermelon, different contests and contests, and, of course, tasting. The winners of the contests get their awards and the event is summed up by a concert where local pop bands take part.
