“Yerevan Taraz Fest” is an annual event organized with the support of the Department of Tourism of Yerevan Municipality aimed at presenting Armenian taraz (national costume) as an inseparable part of the Armenian culture. The festival is an art platform which unites Armenian traditional masters and modern fashion designers, who use elements of “taraz” in their works. Museums, masters or craftsmen, modern designers and local brands are the main participants of the festival.
